Horses of the Past

The following horses are no longer operating with Irish Rose Drafts and have gone to greener pastures. While they’re gone from our operation, they will forever remain in our hearts!

Moonlight

Moonlight is a Percheron Mare who came to us from Michigan. Moonlight was trained in Denver for Carriages.

Jade

Jade was a Belgian Mare who was huge in size and sweetness. She has worked in many venues in Iowa and was part of the famous 40-Horse hitch.

Dolly

Mozart was as big and sweet as he was handsome. Mozart came to us from a carriage company in Florida that went out of business.

Pippen

Pippen was a Suffolk Gelding.

 

Tiege

Tiege was a Belgian Gelding and came to us as a two-year old from Missouri where he had been working on a farm.
